On a side note I'm definitely investing into scouts in 1.8, gallente scout gets 5% hacking speed, cloaking, extra profile dampening and scanner range, dat speed, 2 equipment slots, a bunch of mod slots, AND 3hp/sec built in armor repair? Straggler...

It was pointed out to me that the heavy and scout will be getting passive armor repair, any other suits? I'll life without it (for the most part) but if my gallente logi will be getting a passive armor repair again I'll be a happy freedom fighter :)

Well it seems like it's all about preference, yes u can use assault if you want a little more health and room to put on modules for speed and stealth but I'm more concerned with inherent benefits, the scout is already speedy and stealthy at base, ...

Nah if I were to get a new dropsuit (which I'm close to doing) it would be scout, there's no point to going assault for me when I can just have a really fast moving assault suit, no much flexibility with it, could speed tank, get into stealth, or ...
