yeah pretty much, you gain a ceartin amount of SP offline, and online. you get more when you participate in battle. though, im sure some EVE players around here have a more detailed description for you. i only know so much about the game

you'd have to have some serious shield resistances in order to survive a orbital strike in a tank. other then that, whenever people used one on me, i usually saw it and just backed out of the way. it was funny watching non-stop orbital strikes on ...
