Been trying them on an alt... quite disappointing. Sure splash damage is a big advantage, but the range, firing arc, and low DPS compared to the AR (even with direct hits) balanced it.

HMG's DPS still exceeds that of the AR, the heavy suit was actually buffed with more HP, and being a heavy is much more financially viable. I get the sense that everyone is blowing things out of proportions.
