I have never been so ashamed to be a heavy. "Reduced" isn't the word. Heavies ought to be an extinct class after what CCP has done to them. I would like a respec because there is no way I can continue to play Dust as a heavy with the damage and range I am left with. It's the biggest hassle to take out the weakest of classes and that is just plain depressing. I hope to see major change in the future. Till than, I am nowhere as active as I used to be. |

HMG's DPS still exceeds that of the AR, the heavy suit was actually buffed with more HP, and being a heavy is much more financially viable. I get the sense that everyone is blowing things out of proportions. |

You obviously don't know anything about a heavy during this build. The way heavies are now, the over 1000 bullets they start you off with is barely enough to get 2 kills on militia suits due to what was done to our damage and range. We were slow before and barely acceptable but now we're even slower due to the awkward style of aiming CCP has provided us with and now we LITERALLY are free kills. The HP?? IDC they can have that back for how things were before. And it would be out of proportions if it was just me doing the complaining but its NOT. Even ARs are saying we're officially too weak. It makes sense why CCP has brought the prices down for heavies, I get the thought that they knew exactly how weak we were being made.

It is to the point where even ARs are saying "we're too weak", "they gave the heavies a BB gun".

Damn Sponglyboy Squaredoo if you can't get the Heavy work then it's truly a travesty. You're the best Heavy I have ever seen and been in a squad with. That's why I didn't run out and use my SP yet because I wanted to see how bad the Heavy is going to be and sadly my worst fears have been confirmed. The terrible thing is that not only has CCP ruined HMG's, but they have messed with Forge Guns as well. The Forge Guns are harder to aim now and will literally blind you when fully charged. If CCP doesn't want heavies why don't they just remove them from the game?

1000000000000000% agree.. I maxed my damage profiency and have complex modz 2 btw and still dont do ****.. I wasted 8.7 million sp on a broken class |

My suggestions: Restore heavies to the way they were before chromosome (HMG included) then, take out their sprint. Accentuate their firepower, accentuate their immobility. As a heavy, I could live with this over what is currently in place any day. |

From the stats, the HMG still has higher DPS, but in practise its pretty crappy given the weapon's lack of precision means many wasted shots. The range is pretty terrible as well. Me and my brother will be testing out the advanced version since so many people are running around in high level stuff.
The heavy suit itself is fine. |
