It's not exactly 500 damage, iirc, also it's about 90% effective against shields, so it would take more than a single volley to kill a hardened Gunnlogi. 500*12=600*0.90=5400*0.4=2160 Damage per volley, something around that. default shields is 2...

More are coming, same reason they removed other types of vehicles, other than the ADS (dem tears), is so that they can work on the base things and then tweak, once a solid foundation is in place then they can build on it.
