Well there is of the issue of when is too much too much in going to depth. I purpose you have it setup to have magazines instead, that way nanohives can read the magazine and rebuild the ammo based on those.

Chances are if they do ever add ammo types theyll be using eve online ammos instead. Gauss Rifel which is caldari will be hybridized ammo. So iridium, lead, tungsten, iron, antimatter are order of the day.
