Hmm I`m sure I heard on here that the player you are healing needs to do damage (in a certain amount of time) in order to get points for it. My in game experience bares that out as well.

Actually a head shot won't work as you can revive after headshots. But Perfect Qc did this to me once one was a heavy (red), and the other a logi, I could not hit the respawn button fast enough.
