In Dust you can earn (without boosters) around the same ammount of SP as in EVE per week. With boosters you exceed it by nearly double. EVE SP per week +5 attribute implants = Avg 400k SP DUST SP per week no implants = 360k SP DUST SP per wee...

It's eve mails, I am guessing you're part of a corp that has eve members? It'll probably be that someone has sent out corp mails in eve and currently they don't show in Dust so will stay as though you have some unread.
