I am a CEO of my corp I had a question about what the directors roles are. can the director increase the corps level cap and spend sp on that or do I only have control on corps recruit numbers and I have to spend my sp more so to make corp bigger? |

Should just be the CEO's skills impacting your corporation player limits. Director is just an assigned permission level. |

Only the CEO can increase the number count.
The director can distribute ISK, approve applications and create/accept corp battles. |

CEO Tip: When collecting taxes, move them regularly into your CEO Toon's wallet so if a director goes rouge then they can't steal much from the corp. |

This guy nails it. Also note that if you swap CEO's to someone who does not have the same skills the maximum members does not go down. |

Wait, that sounds odd. So someone could create a character, max out the corp trees and just switch out to a new ceo that does not have the corp skill? Is that true? sounds like something that is just itching for abuse. |

EVE Online has a similar thing in place and many people do use it for selling their services as Alliance formers. |

Yep.....
Works the same way in EvE. Toons can create a corp and then pass it off....sometimes for a fee.

Sounds like a good way to make isk ...
"Want your own corp ? ... Can't be bothered training the skills ? ... Max level corp creation services, only 100 mil isk !"

There should be some benefit to having a skill. This is Dust where you can create new psn accounts and characters at no cost. It seems to me that by allowing the switching like this you are promoting bad behavior of psn users.
Why would you use your main character when you can just make an alt to form it for you? Lets say you could do the following
- Make 2 psn accounts (it's free and easy to do)
- Login with your fake ceo to be account, get the isk to form corporation, use all start skills to get the group started, be sure to turn passive on
- Switch to main character, join corp, switch back and make your main the ceo
- wait a couple weeks or until you need more spots, switch to your fake account which will most likely have enough points form passive to up it a bit more
- Rinse and repeat, all without your main ever having to get corp management
I think it works for Eve but for Dust, I think you should consider what you are saying. To me it sounds like I have no reason to level the corporation management skills, skills i could use elsewhere.

Could anyone confirm exactly what a Dust director can do? and also confirm that they in no-way can affect the EVE side of the corporation.
For example can a Dust director kick an EVE player from corp? |
