I actually use the Breach AR because I think it is easier to use when jumping and moving. I don't know why you guys say it will be worse in CQC.

Yes. Currently, it seems CCP does not want variants to be as affective as the original they mimic. As such the TAR was nerfed when 1.7 passed, as it was thought to competitive compared to the scrambler. Rather unfortunate.
