I use drop uplinks, when I am pinned down behind cover I throw out an uplink so maybe a heavy will spawn that can eat some bullets so I can get away.

Sniper damage needs to be increased. a headshot should always be a OHK with a proto sniper with damage mods. The problem with snipers is if you have more then 1 or 2, then your team immediately loses. Thats the downside.
