I believe that CCP will continue to improve this game. However, judging by the pace and the content they release, they will most likely fall to Bungie's DESTINY. I for one have no doubt that DESTINY's release will be a sword struck into DUST.
I probably will check back and play once in a while, but I foresee most of my time to be spent on what I know will be a much more polished game by release then CCP managed in all these months. |

OK... why can't they do nothing?
A bit premature, don't you think? We don't really know what Destiny is, yet. Nor do we fully know what Dust is, yet. It isn't one or the other. Just because people will go play Destiny doesn't mean you can't play Dust. Or vice versa. Very rarely does something "kill" another thing, in a marketplace. |

Destiny looks more like a WoW type MMO...co-op PvE with some PvP arena play.
Dust and Destiny are really different games....and even if they were more similar then i predict there is plenty of room for both. especially how Dust is set up as free to play that allows people to come and go to it as they please.
If Dust fails it will do it all on its own. |

Not another Destiny vs Dust thread again. This is probably like the 30th thread already.
Destiny will be $60 per franchise, something like Call of Duty where they release a new one every year. They have a 10 year plan with this.
Dust is free and will never have a sequel and will be 10 years in the making with free maps and expansions. Within 10 years it'll be as monstrous as EVE Online with 15,000 planets (maps) and all the bugs, glitches, whining, etc will be fixed and the graphics overhauled and updated. It will also make the jump to PS4, which CCP has the original graphics from when the carbon engine melted down the PS3.
Will I play Destiny? Probably. Will I leave Dust? No, it will always be around and something I will look forward to coming back every time there's something new. I'm a huge fan of EVE Online and already an instant fan with Dust and looking forward to the future on the expansion of Dust. |

Though to be honest, if I could choose the game I would rather play...
