Melding most weapons with deployable equipment, an active scanner, repair tool, or nanite injector results in a gun that shoots invisible and silent bullets. So this glitch does have potential for abuse (i.e. invisible laser rifle beam).

This is not a bug, and it would be completely illogical to not allow you to have every type of equipment placed by switching suits. CCP has already mentioned a team-based limit on deployable equipment (even though I don't think it's possible to do...

The battle finder is a pretty serious piece of crap. Deployment constantly glitches, the controls are weird, and half of the time selecting a specific battle type doesn't work.

I know exactly how it happens for me. I restock my dropsuits mid-battle. Then I try to spawn right afterwards. If the countdown timer is cancelled (either by me pressing circle or by the objective becoming hacked) then my dropsuits won't load and ...
