So my calculation of the time reduction is wrong. A 50% increase in rotation speed equates to a rotation time of 66.66% of the base time. If we take the large Railgun at proficiency level 5, 17 sec base should become 11.3. So 15 sec is still way ...

3750 would have pulled it back into line with the old 4 merc squads. But the sledge hammer approach is how stuff gets adjusted. Turrets have 10,000 armour now too. LOL

Yes, nerfed too much. Damage mods were the problem. The damage nerf + damage mod nerf + heat build up nerf is total over kill. Sledge hammer approach to "balance" strikes again.
