YO, sorry we broke the forums for ya'll! Put a very bad build out and messed up some settings data in the DB, took a while to fix. I shall go wear the hat of shame now.

Avatars have been updated to match Uprising graphics. Also, in Uprising, specialties have been dropped, so now your avatar is based on your race and gender only. You'll need to logout of the forums and log in again to be able to see your new avatar.

Because we're not displaying the notifications to you. We are working on that, you should start to see notifications soon(TM). We'll add a notifications menu up in the header, similar to EVE forums.

For now the dropsuits shown on the websites are bound to the role you chose on character creation, they don't reflect the dropsuit you're currently wearing in game.

It's not just you. EVE forums and DUST forums use the same codebase, but notifications have been turned off for DUST forums. But this checkbox hasn't been removed, hence the issue. Rather than removing the checkbox, we're are looking at enabling...

Its a longstanding forum bug that we've been dragging our asses to fix - a deployment to the forums that fixes this is pending, should be out soon(TM). Sorry for the slowness on this guys.
