Honestly go for Laser Rifle or Mass Driver (lvl 1 minimum) Also although Hyper Expensive, get that shield control up. Type II's are seven times better with Lvl 5 Shield Control (Factor of better'ness not verified)

In my opinion, Biotics. Right now stealth has minimal use (we still have 8 v 8 corp battles and "small" maps) and a lot of the game is just strafing and killing so biotic scout FTCW (For the current win)
