I have no interest in taking everything to prof 5, rapid reload 5, etc. The weapons I use the most already have that, and I don't think it's worth bothering doing that with all the other weapons.

I agree completely OP. Whilst we're at it, I think the HMG needs a damage and range increase to remain competitive. I heard a story about a squad that actually had survivors after an HMG attack the other day, completely absurd.
