I now have the SP for another protosuit. I have all cores maxed and all weapons at proto, so there's not much to improve on there, so the SP is either going towards another protosuit or vehicles.
So. What should I pick? I have all Gallente suits, Calscout, and Calassault so far.
Sometimes, one just has an overwhelming urge to throw a potato at someone.

Cal and Min Sentinel are fun and rather different to play.
Calmando is good if you'd like to be a jerk with the Charge or Thale's and OHKO sentinels.
AmAss is an all-around excellent suit that still has maybe the best bonus in the game, and you're already good with the ScR.
Minja is surprisingly useful and entertaining, if maddening.
Reality is the original Rorschach.

Another suit? Before doing that, have you maxed out any of those Proto weapons yet? As in getting ammo capacity, rapid reload, proficiency, sharpshooter, and fitting optmizations all to 5?
I have NKs, ScPs, CRs, and Swarms fully leveled which helps me cut down on costs as even my STD weapons are enough to go toe-to-toe with Proto users. I'd invest in those skills if you're currently unsure of where to spend that SP. |

I have no interest in taking everything to prof 5, rapid reload 5, etc. The weapons I use the most already have that, and I don't think it's worth bothering doing that with all the other weapons.

Minscout: Easy wins on skirmishes. Than you can make a triple kin cat NK fit for moar fun.
Min assault: Be FoTM or not, playing with this suit is funny. The speed and the strafe of a scout and >200 stamina that recovers in 4 seconds, what would you wish more to make a hit 'n run fit (my second best play style)?

With the plans to add "Post Level 5 Content" on the horizon I would play it safe and save the SP as opposed to spending it for the simple sake of spending it.

Minjas are awesome. At lvl 5 minscout and lvl 5 systems hacking with 3 proto codebreakers you get a hack speed factor of 2.99 (3). I think that means you can hack things 3 times faster than other suits. In skirmish, grabbing all objectives is the key to victory so that's where it will shine.
If you want to be a knifer just put a complex dampener and 2 kin cats and have fun.
However, there's one more thing the minja is good at; melee. Slap 3 complex myofibs on and you will deal 495.33 damage with each blow. This playstyle is so fun I went to make an alt specialized in meleeing. 
I may not have a mic, but trust me, you NEED me in your squad if you want to win.
When I'm on a roll, I'm unstoppable.

that is cool but with such a fit everyone and their mothers can see you due to scanners picking you up all day. to hack something you dont want the greedy scouts follow you for a kill. |

You'll forgive me if I don't have much faith in CCP's future plans. "Post Level 5 Content" has been 'on the horizon' since 2012.
