Having played more, I think that while the controls are a tad finicky they aren't too bad. However, there is still a balance issue with the assault rifle for sure.

I may be just whiny, but as someone who isn't super proficient at console shooters I agree that sniping seems to be a bit more difficult than it should be. I quickly found that crouching and staying still helped shake, as it should, but things are...

I agree, sometimes I just nail targets, and sometimes it seems like I can just pour bullets through them. Oddly, it seems to happen more often when my target is low on health.
