Nope. Sorry but you called it in, you fly it. Its not a 1 man vehicle in the same way a HAV OR LAV isn't a 1 man vehicle, the only difference being fall damage :P

wouldn't surprise me if for the heavy aerial vehicles you need race specific drop ship lvl 4/5 so it probably wont be waisted sp even if you do train it to lvl 3 But the question is do you want to have the extra hi slot? For me the answer is yes...
