RaneSNIPER Kang Lo Directorate Gallente Federation 0	Posted - 2013.02.03 09:54:00 - [1] - Quote sorry but this one i HAVE to vent. i have been wondering if i should train to be a drop pilot or a HAV driver. then to my suprise i get the spoils of GASP A TANK !!! holy sweetness a tank !! i spend TONS of sp and isk out fitting it and getting it drivable and decide to call a drop of it the next battle. and while i'm waiting for the drop i get sniped in the back of the head. suddenly a team mate TAKES OFF like its grand theft auto * In.* My TANK.!!! so he drives around in this thing racking up kills and then just leaves it there ! and before i can get to it the ENEMY hacks it and SLAUGHTERS us in it. SOOOOO PISSED right now. Anyone ever had this happen to them ? i think some players need to go back to Halo and Battlefield until they learn to respect the system of Eve a little more.

The EVE/DUST514 New Eden Universe is extremely cut-throat and if anything you should be thankful it was "just" a tank that was pinched. I agree it is extremely rude to steal other players vehicles. But there is even worse, yesterday I ordered my 300,000+ ISK dropship onto the battlefield and was waiting for my buddies to hop in, meanwhile a friendly blue dot in a jeep intentionally drove head on into me and blew it up.

But, you have to expect the worst calling one down in a public match where you don't know any of your teammates. I would never take one, unless the driver's dead and the tank's in a precarious position. Even then, I'd rather camp it and wait for the enemy to try and hack it - which they'll soon regret.
