Has anyone noticed very large performance issues with the HMG after the last patch? I feel its at least 25% less effective. I feel it misses more and does much less damage, especially against shields. I'm also getting significantly more lag post patch. Not sure if it's directly related... |

IM Not Sure About The Hit detection, But I Have Noticed That When Switching Weapons Sometimes I Will End Up Empty Handed Firing Air And Using An Invisible Weapon (I Think It's Only With The Scrambler Pistol). Also The Combination Of HMG And Other Sidearm Weapons Still HappenS. These Are Small Bugs But Still. -BazookaH

I had a game last night where I managed to flank a group of reds. The one nearest to me, about 5m away, was standing still firing at the blueberries. I opened fire point blank and used about 200 rounds only to see that his HP was not going down. I got an assist but at that range, he should have melted in a second. It seemed as if 90% of my shots did not even hit.
Things were great for my Heavy immediately after 1.3, however, I can't say the same now. |

Yeah I think the recent build caused the hit detection to go off. Shooting In-front / behind tends to do the trick |

It is off, something is horribly wrong. But when has it not been for the HMG. Man I miss the beta, it was the best to be a heavy and watch LAV's melt and assault scurry away like scared children on Halloween |

I started using HMG after the update. So I have nothing to compare it by.
Right now I have STD everything HMG. For my 40K Suit, I cause so much death and destruction. For the amount of ISK an HMG build cost and the amount of damage you do, I see nothing to b!tch about. My K/D using HMG is in the 20s, knowing it was better than this only makes me wish I started it sooner, lol.
I have been having this issue with ALL weapons and build in DUST. |

All of this. I've also been getting this thing where it doesn't fire at all when triggered. Usually after reloads, I think. Of course, in CQC situations you don't notice til it's too late. |

One thing I noticed that may potentially help is to stop moving. Their health starts to drop quicker. But this strategy is obviously not ideal for a big slow heavy. Surprisingly I have not really had this issues with the AR... |

Also after you hack an objective is when you cant fire for a few seconds as well. Don't even try to switch weapons, it makes matter worse. |

The number one lag issue for me is when restocking fits after death. It can take up to 20 seconds to restock a fit. |

Still a good gun for me, the HMG that is. Remember one of my last matches a wekk ago where I was Batmobiling around, hopped out the LLAV and just face melted 4 unsuspecting victims. My squad mates were bewildered by the sudden list of enemies I killed! |

My HMG has never failed me and has a very good hitdetection and accuracy, can't say the same for the forge gun, I think the forge gun has the most glitches. A little lag and the forge gun is useless more or less. |

I'm not a frequent user of the forge gun, but I did notice that unless its an exact direct hit to personnel, the splash does little to no damage. For vehicles it seems pretty good. Except really fast LAV's, the splash damage doesn't really phase them. |

Haven't used them myself recently, but my scout managed to kill an HMG heavy with several tactical sniper clips. It was stupid that they slowly walked towards me in the open while firing, but I could see the ridiculously wide cone of fire. |

as some one who never like to play heavy I miss those days too I loved how you would see a heavy coming and have to run out maneuver and out fight him. god I miss so much from the first build. Just not the lag/FR/lack of squad/corp.
but I do miss the infanate vehicle spawn bug, blowing up a pyramid of like 20 tanks was AWSOME!!! |
