Players either AFK from the start or AFK when the tides turn. Not even a ounce of fight can be found in them. Especially if the reds spawn points are right next to the objective. They spawn, hack the supply unit, and control the objective. How does the team react? They AFK. Snipers grow in abundance. So that means you got at least 4 or 5 guys trying to play the role of Tom Berenger and they aren't hitting any targets. Not even giving field intel. Meanwhile, the enemy picks off several random assault troops who dare to make a wedge in their defense. Assault players spawn one by one. And one by one they go up the steps to their deaths. No Logis on field. If there is a Logi, he's acting like an assault player. Heavies? Oh, they're just left to fend for themselves. With Ambush, I don't have those worries. So no, my beef isn't with CCP. My beef is with the players. Why are you even playing Domination and Skirm, both team based games, if you're just in it to satisfy your own goals and not that of the team's? Ambush feels good after you play, win or lose. With Domination, I start to question why did I even try that game type for the umpteenth time like something has changed.

There needs to be an in-game balance system that avoids one side of pinning down the other, for too long (like rubberband A.I. for example). Otherwise people will continue to just sit around and do nothing related to the modes.

Hated playing ambush because at the time it seemed to be near all proto fest with coordinated squads. ( I like to lone wolf helping others or jump in random squads ) I used to do pretty well in Dom/skirm. Getting atleast 2000 wp a game as a Gal logi, not so much anymore.. it seems like most the time my team is either outmatched completely or they don't even try and hide in the hills. Seeing more and more and more charged snipers and thales each time I enter one of them. So I started to do ambush, and found it is much more enjoyable and pays a lot more isk per hr. I used to get 300-400k a match in Dom no problem.. seems like i'm lucky to get over 200k now. I can run a quick ambush, get a couple kills and few hundred wp earning the same isk and just slightly less SP. while actually having some fun battles where people can't hide so easily.

If I get bored I go to Domination which is pretty much the same but with more clones and an objective wich gives you a nice distinguishable permanent frontier for a change

Instead of worrying about capturing a NULL Canon, you have to worry about spawns, keeping your clones alive, etc. I like Ambush because the game's are faster. This stems from when I posted onto YouTube actually. You can't post a 20 minute game on YT and expect the same results as making a 7 minutes video. Plus you get more SP/hr playing Ambush. I only play Ambush now, and since they've combined OMS & Regular I like it a little more. I used to stay out of OMS because that's where you'd find the Full Squad Tryhard Protos running 200K ISK suits picking on MLT Noobs then acting ike they actually had some kind of skill at the game, but now there's a chance I'll have a squad on my team that's worth a darn
