Everytime I try to play Domination and/or Skirm, I find the same results. And I'm not happy about it. Players either AFK from the start or AFK when the tides turn. Not even a ounce of fight can be found in them.
Especially if the reds spawn points are right next to the objective. They spawn, hack the supply unit, and control the objective.
How does the team react? They AFK. Snipers grow in abundance. So that means you got at least 4 or 5 guys trying to play the role of Tom Berenger and they aren't hitting any targets. Not even giving field intel. Meanwhile, the enemy picks off several random assault troops who dare to make a wedge in their defense. Assault players spawn one by one. And one by one they go up the steps to their deaths. No Logis on field. If there is a Logi, he's acting like an assault player. Heavies? Oh, they're just left to fend for themselves.
With Ambush, I don't have those worries. So no, my beef isn't with CCP. My beef is with the players. Why are you even playing Domination and Skirm, both team based games, if you're just in it to satisfy your own goals and not that of the team's?
Ambush feels good after you play, win or lose. With Domination, I start to question why did I even try that game type for the umpteenth time like something has changed.

This is exactly how my experience went.

Wait, mercs seriously AFK in Ambush? I figured Knight to be joking. I haven't experienced that. |
