They won't do anything to make the llav useful. It will become another useless vehicle like the scout lav, all forms of dropships, and enforcers tanks.
It'd be like if only one or two weapons were viable for infantry.... Oh wait that is exactly the case.
Why do we play this game? |

The module it comes with is impossible to use. |

Rusty Shallows wrote:Do you really think CCP will set things up so that you roadkill one merc and suddenly your LAV or LLAV will explode?
I'm betting it will be a little/minor damage and a slight reduction in speed if all goes well. So that running people over will become a split second risk/reward decision instead of an automatic HELL YEAH! I imagine collision damage being all but removed or instadeath lavs.
Dropships used to be really useful for squishing mercenaries but now they explode if they so much as look at the ground. |

Tell that to the people I see activating it on their passenger when he hops out so that he can gun down everyone who comes near him while having near-invulnerability until the cycles run out. Except it requires 5 seconds to lock on, plenty of time for the infantry to die. And if they go around a corner the health beam is broken. Or if they take. 5 steps away from the lav.
It's much more effecient to just jump out of the car and shoot the enemy, or physically block the bullets so your ally can regenerate his shields (which doesn't require a logistics lav).
Anyone defending the current mechanic is bad.
Anyone who has faith in ccp making it actually work, I used to be like you :( |

Even when it was broken as hell back in Codex, it was still neat to drive into a HAV v HAV fight, rep up the friendly one, and then speed away while the enemy one exploded.
Mm memory may be failing me but im almost certain the llav module only works on infantry.
The shield transporter module works on vehicles but that isnt llav specific. |

Every attempt at using the current iteration of the infantry healing module in a nutshell.
