This one is for shield tanks who don't get enough from their shield boosters.
Charybdis Light shield booster Light shield transporter 2 shield amplifiers 2 local PG systems Cycled missile turret
It can heal around 2200 HP with a 15 seconds cooldown. Which should help the tank to survive more. The PG systems give it around 2400 HP. Enough to survive any AV while helping the tank.

Yes I still have about 23 sicas left from one of the packs I bought when they first came out.
2x PDUs 2x Shield Extenders 1x Large Shield Booster 1x Large Cycle Missile Launcher 1x Nose Compressed Railgun 1x Topside Cycled Missile Launcher
Eats about 2-3 Swarms and about 2 -3 forge shots and once it gets going its decent fast enough to run over bad LAV drivers. |

Can you work on convincing CCP to give us WP for repairing shields/armor from vehicle to vehicle? If there was this kind of incentive there would be less murder taxis. I say 70 WP per pulse would be nice.

I would like to see Orbital Strikes removed from WPs entirely first. Because that would open up quite a few more possibilities in getting WP from many sources instead of being OB conscious on CCPs design decisions. |

simple reason...
dropships are un arguably the weakest vehicles in the game, they are very easily killed and I don't see a point in haing them at the state theyv been in for months...
LAVs are just scrub mode, they take nothing to drive and there like the cars in GTA, they are nearly un-killable and are basically the actual tanks of the game...
Tanks are the pride of the vehicles for many many reasons |

Increase WP requirement for OBs by 100%? I mean if you remove WP for OBs...what else should be able to unlock one? Not like we should be able to throw one without some kind of combat effort. Right now some squads can get 2 OBs per match if they're decent enough. Also, less people in squad means more effort needed to unlock OB. Make it 4 people squads again. Plzzzzzz

Its a big argument that needs to be resolved by thier game design overall. I would love to see more support actions giving rewards outside of helping win (but the fact its not recorded action means you don't get paid at end of fight)
I would hate to see a third 'point' system pop up to separate actions and payout and rewards but it may come down to that... :( |

Its mostly an infantry suppressor and anti-soma. Doesn't do too well against other shield tankers. Or military grade fit vehicles but most of the time I lose one of these about once every 2-3 matches while supporting infantry when possible. I rarely have to recall sicas I deploy but it does happen. Maps which are a nightmare for me would skim junction with comms installed in the center, there is like no effing place to hide. Nose rail is to discourage gunners shooting at infantry and more at other vehicles. Top Launcher is for self defense.

Well its the most survivable militia fit I could slap together. I have a railgun fit but that thing like only eats 2 shots from anything before dying. My Soma fit is anti-LLAV and brawler fit but does decent against other militia tanks. While I can't tank dance that well in this game (where as using a lightning in ps2 was my thing) My HAV command is still lvl 0 so I have to deal with lack of skill levels and survive the hard way. I don't get amazing amount of kills as an HAV pilot but 4-5 is about average and annoying the ever loving hell out of hostile AV seems to be my best goal. However if you really want to end me quick an assault forge with good window will end me real quick.
My LAV fits are better balanced but mostly for transport/decoy or ramming other LAVs.
Dropships... it hurts to talk about it. |

I have a pretty decent Gunnlogi fit made for anti-infantry and sometimes, anti-vehicle duty; I rarely ever lose one of these. My Rail-gun fit however can take a punishment at a cost; it deals less damage because I tend to think more about durability than offensive power.
I made my own LAV fit with transport in mind; it can get you to places pretty fast. I also have a LLAV fit focused on supporting vehicles and infantry.

Or anything, really. Not picky. i run a "logi" gunnlogi. both shield and armor reps plus i'll tank some round while repping you and provide defensive firepower to keep those annoying av naders away and of course other tanks. all i ask you stop trying to run over me blocking me in and preventing me from shooting. i saved many tanks just for them to crawl on top of my tank, no more tank babies!! (LLAVs)
back to the OP LLAVs make ok single type reppers in longer battles but us tankers get scared at the first sign of av with good reason and that LLAV could end up flatten in a hurry. i have every type of shield vehicle, yes even the scout LAV, but i see myself as a tanker because it is what i like to run and reps are best given to tanks from tanks and for dropships its best from other dropships. LAVs are on their own, its not effective to give them reps even from other LAVs.
remote reps could use some more range but otherwise fine(vehicle to vehicle) minus the no WP, i mean really give us some WP for doing reps just like infantry it doesn't have to be as high or as fast but give us both triage and guardian points. my tank did just over 25k reps on other tanks and went 5-0 with 300 WP while the ones i repped did 25-0 and 18-0(they would of died without me) and made over 2k wp each so while they got 350k+ isk i got 110k isk |

Sorry void, have to disagree with you here, as having an real functioning LLAV can be a great asset to a tanker who has to do something risky. Their high mobility means they can bring a couple of infantry to push off tenacious AV teams, properly fitted they can help armor or shield tanks increase their effectiveness, and their road killing capability means they can smear those who might try to hide from my railgun.
Also, if equipped with a good blaster they also function very well in an anti-LAV role, targeting drivers and such.
If the driver of the LAV and the HAV can work together well, the LAV can be very tough to target, and the extra strength the HAV gets can be the difference in a fight. Also, if it is a Charybdis, it can even roll in front to eat a set of swarms if need be.
Sadly, because there are zero points given out for repping vehicles, most LLAV drivers will not use this potent role to its fullest, because it does not yield results.
Even guardian assists would make this combo a more consistent battlefield presence. |

In WW2 Shermans had a problem defeating 'any' panzer back then. The only reason why shermans won any tank fights then was sheer numbers and opportunity in use.
I feel my sica or soma is in a similar position I can bearly break the Gunlogi before they split my tank in half |

It was my understanding that PZ IV's, especially pre- Ausf F2's were not vastly superiour to a Sherman save for their slightly lower profile and slightly better gun(post Ausf F2 only).
A Sherman was capable of penetrating a PZ IV, even Ausf. G's at decent ranges, and could even penetrate Panthers if a lower glacis shot was available. Beyond that, the Sherman was faster, arguably more reliable, and had faster turret traverse IIRC.
Shermans were capable versus Pz IV's, just not against Panthers and Tigers. |

Take a lesson from MAG,
Put it on a timer. Most balanced way I've seen OMS done in any FPS.
1 'OMS Point' per second per member of the squad. 1800 points required for OB (5m for 6 person squad) |
