Agree with the OP, in the beta we where all excited about the corp system, interaction with eve, manage skill point and isk, PC all of this are great, sadly they just failed in core mechanic like aiming, server lag, few maps, incentive to own district in PC, weapon balancing, matchmaking i know lot of this is said, but im a bit sad, i liked the idea of the game and its unique game design
Note: i miss chrome :( |

Note: i miss chrome :( I honestly no horse playing around miss Chromosome. I just think it was a better game. Classic Gameplay over graphics example right there. We were beta testing something for one year than when the game was released it was a completely different product that we didn't test. So true |

I think this is a joke when today you make a decision and 2-4 months from the time you made that decision it can get completely destroyed. Honestly even IF respecs were given I wouldn't even know if I would want to spec into anything because IF you spec into anything that is effective it will only get changed in the future anyway. If you spec into something that is weak you are looking at being irrelevant for about 6-10 months depending on how long it takes CCP to just nerf everything else and give you that buff.
I feel the method CCP does right now is not working and isn't ever gonna work. It really feels like every time they nerf something they buff something else. Creating a never ending paradox of FoTM (which honestly I think this is the plan to keep selling boosters and opens up future paid for respecs) A simple method to this that would actually be positive would be just keep nerfing everything no buffs till everything is eventually weak and that would create balance. Most "good" players just spec and when their build becomes broken or worthless they stay away from the game and AFK farm till the day where their weapon is strong again or have the AFK SP built to spec into something else. um amarian logi here that would be a 3 month wait lol and the end result looks at cal logi roflmao pets my massdriver and flux belt Nah im agree with Xeros, if you buff or nerf a suit a module or a gun, the skill point need to be give back for everybody, if you like the change just to put back the SP in, if you dont like you can spend elsewhere, it is not the player fault but CCP one, i say this and i have 0 sp in callogi and Flaylock |

I mean I sill do decent in the PC matches. 40CPU is steep I will have another suit soon. I just don't see why we can't have frequent Respecs. It would solve everything. One you could find all the FoTM and nerf everything (NOT BUFF, NERF) till you create total balance. This is advantage #1. #2 You allow people to test and find all the weapons and FoTM one after another. #3 You keep people exciting till the game is where it needs to be. Let's be honest Dust is nowhere near where it needs to be for a released product. By implementing the MAG respec system it could serve as a temporary function till all suits are out and total balance is created. OR people will have to keep specing over 2M SP for a new suit like I am almost completed doing. Interesting idea i agree, the only Hic is the fact CCP need to admit thats still a beta if they do that |
