BTW I understand if you AFK the last few minutes of a completely lost match, I don't do it as I'm hard headed and could care less about KDR but I understand. This list is for people who do it in the begining of a game when all is not lost.

So I'm starting a list of all people who AFK and putting you guys on blast, as you are ruining the game. When I'm dying constantly trying to take an installation and you're sitting in the MCC, I wanna jump through the internet and break your jaw.

This list will hopefully help CCP see that there's a huge problem and fix this, feel free to add to the list. I'm going to do it for every game I notice it from now on.

Game I'm currently in EKH0 0ne, cr7 jfc, and tyh s are all sitting in the MMC from about the beginning of the game on. The first two went 0-0 whole game while tyh s went 1-1. There were two others sitting in the beginning ground spawn but I didn't get a chance to spawn over there and see there names.

Seriously go to Ambush if you wanna AFK, atleast when you hide in the hills your not hurting the game as bad as in a skirmish.

Don't do it very often and usually only after i have died 2 or 3 times and see that the match is hopeless.

By the way you have more of a chance of jumping though my TV like a poltergeist then ever hitting me and breaking my jaw.

Obviously there is very little shame involved.

Maybe if they would change something with the sp system so it did not take numerous hours to hit cap, then I would not afk while I did other things around my house.

If they want DUST to succeed, simply kick these players who are at least gracious enough to add their names. For every consistent AFKer, ten quit DUST a month is my guess. Those ten go on to tell their friends that DUST is stupid and full of people AFKing for some reason... round and round it goes.

Laugh it up fellas, before the game crashes, they will try something as last ditch effort.

Please don't pull numbers out of the air, then base your arguments around them.

The AFK'ing is a symptom of an underlying issue, being that there isn't enough content to keep people interested. The combination of the promise of content with the punishing SP system says you either force yourself to play the game or permanently gimp yourself. If the game was interesting, people would play, and if the SP system didn't cap you out, people could leave for long periods of time without missing anything.

Please don't blame DUST's issues for the mismanagement of your free time. I like the game, the only time I consider quitting is when I see how crappy the community (you) is, and CCPs failure to address... you. If I, a long time high SP player considers quitting because of you, again, my GUESS is there are ten, low SP players actually quitting per month, and then those people tell their friend... its marketing 101. and DUSTs numbers are down, this ain't rocket science.

If you fail to see why people are AFK'ing and just look at the consequences of it, then we're never going to find a solution for it that actually makes the game better. The fact that I'm not the only AFK'er should've also made you really think about the wording of your post, making it seem as though I'm out for myself, when really I'm trying to help by showing you why people do what they do.
