Today I decided I was curious as to what was killing me the most, and if my assumption that most of my deaths were to instant kills or explosives was correct.
Here are the results:
1x forge gun
2x heavy machine gun
1x assault rifle
3x mass driver
3x charge sniper rifle (worth noting that it was this specific variant)
7x grenades
2x LLAV
I use a gallente logistics suit and a scrambler rifle, normally.
What causes your death the most? What do you use? |

What causes most of my deaths? I run around with a heavy using regular ol' Nova Knives. Let them fear the ninja heavy. (You'd be surprised how many I've killed doing this.) |

Instant deaths are never fun in any game. They are needed for snipers because a good team vs good team, the sniper will only get one shot before an enemy sniper takes him out. As for the other one hit kills. I got nothing atm. Instant deaths just aren't fun. Why do our dropsuits even have fancy shields on them if they can't negate at least 1 grenade? |

I'll be running a new set of general kill stats for 1.3 soon but in 1.2 the top killers across all players in all games were ARs, snipers and HMGs followed by LAVs and tanks. |

One shot snipers are already out of control, making all the snipers one shot will only result in half or more of a team redline sniping like cowards. Heck snipers should have a constant arrow over their head when they pull the sniper out cause it's hard to even find them. Oh and I usually die from getting outnumbered by several people when the other blueberries run off. |

I'm not saying a toe shot should one shot kill. But if the sniper is fully speced out and is using a top end sniper rifle, charge or Thale's, they should one shot kill most dropsuits with a headshot. |

Depends on what I do, what the map is, and what the game mode is.
Usually, assault rifles kill me the most.
For CQC, HMGs and mass drivers come in second to ARs
My logi tends to get killed by either snipers or LAVs (other than ARs)
My heavies get killed by LAVs, after ARs
My sniper usually only gets killed by ARs, and that's while it's on a quest to get more ammo. |

It would certainly be grenades. Followed by explosives in general.
But what actually gets the kill on me and what caused 98% of my damage can be 2 different things. I normally don't get killed by a HMG, but they can wreck me up well enough for the next guy to come along and score an easy kill. |

All my deaths today are from redline snipers and redline forge snipers. I will AFK the rest of the day to reach my CAP as this is utterly boring. |

My Tank by Tank/AV
My Heavy by other Heavies ( or by that 3rd dude cause I blasted the first two)
and My Dropship by mine own choosing...if I'm on the way to a tower and someone forms in the Gunners Seat, ain't nobody coming back....we going down guns blazin'.... |
