If you can't deal with the flak that comes from being apart of the top alliance, then maybe you should go indie. There will always be some degree of contempt for the haves from the have-nots. Expecting any different in this situation is foolish of you. It doesn't matter if you are tyrannical or benevolent, there will always be those who will slight every accomplishment.

Asking for sympathy while every member in your alliance is sitting on a fat wallet and a nice daily income is ridiculous, and you should be laughed at for trying it.

If the ever increasing wallet amounts and friendlies all across the map are not enough for you, then you will never be satisfied.

The rest of the community can do like you all did and try to amass the skill left in a dozen or so corps to field an alliance to take on EoN. WIll that happen, probably not. Will the same results happen that have happened so many times before, probably.

So the options going forward are to keep things the way they are. Or try something different.

The problem with attacking EON is once you attack them, all of your districts are locked down with attacks from every Tom, ****, and Harry in the Alliance, keeping all of your clones in there. 100 clone battles aren't fun for anyone,

This. I think a lot of the hate has to do with the trolling. A lot of it also has to do with general frustration over the way this game works. It took Eon a year to become what they are, and people on both sides need to realize that it will take a good while for anyone to challenge them. Because of the limited player pool, players getting fed up with CCP and leaving, and the SP required to compete on equal footing, building a quality PC team takes months. Getting a strong alliance together of quality PC teams takes much longer.

The victory Eon has earned is not in conquest, but in staving off boredom.
Everybody who has been "beaten out" of PC left because fighting every day gets dull real fast.

Then Eon's mouths come here to regale us with tales of their victories vs corps and alliances who were largely playing The Last Of Us or catching up on Game of Thrones instead.

Then why QQ or rage or whatever you call the reaction if you don't want to commit to playing. If anything it's less like it used to be now that you can flip a district either in 2 hours or 2-3 days if ya want to space it out.
