Just wait, ccp is not done with "fixing" aiming yet, according to the dev blogs it is getting adjusted.
The scary thing is that they are saying auto-aim is off now or something like that, I don't know if they mean there is a problem with it or that the actual feature is off by default even though the options menu still has an aim assist. 1 day it seems to work, then the next I have to turn it off. Hit detection is just like that too, one day it seems alright and the next nothing hits.
But can you really believe what they are telling you? They futzed up the nerf to the caldari logi shield recharge time, no word from them. (first when they said they were taking 20 cpu, then when they said not just 20, but 28 and then 40, and instead of giving the 5/8 delay in exchange for the changes as a appeasement... they go 6/8... no word from them.)
They allow LAV's and scout suits to outrun the explosion from grenades that them, swarms, and those proximity mines... no word from them. Not even mentioning that you should be able to hit the driver with ease it is a freaking convertible.... nope only unmanned turrets can do that, no word from them. As for dropships, run for the redline, the missles won't hit you of course that is the way it should be working.
How come I only seem to get headshots on an enemy randomly, it is not like the only thing showing is their head above that crate they are hiding behind, let alone getting a headshot on someone who has their back turned to you. So since you can't have a scope on your AR you switch to the tac or burst variants... no matter how fast you press the fire on a controller it still is not fast enough without a turbo button or keyboard and mouse. Then when you do shoot it the chances or you getting a headshot with a tac is reduced to if they are just getting revived or perfectly stationary, with the hit detection and the different look speeds for hip fire and aim down sight.
The fact that the LAV's can kill you right after doing a complete 180 and drag/push you until you are dead.... no word from them.
AV grenades should remain on the ground for a lot longer, but the LAV's back when the length of time was longer for the AV grenades had the broken control mechanics, now that they can turn on a hair it seems that the AV grenades are just as worthless, oh yeah just switch to a forge or swarm... get killed by everyone else.
Ah but then you do get word from them and it is we are working on it.... funny things just seem to be getting worse. ccp's words mean very little these days, it is like expecting a liar to tell the truth because they swore they would on a bible.... which is just so silly it might work.
