So since the gallente scout has 4 low slots so considering that gallente and caldari are kind of mirror images don't you think that the 4-5 high slots will be AWESOME! I can't wait to stack 5 complex shield extenders and a complex regulator! OP suit inbound! |

wut? no If it's like the gallente scout it will have 4-5 high slots and a low slot, gallente has 4 low 1 high. |

If current scout suits are anything to go by, you would be stick with a meta 1 scrambler pistol, no equipment, and no grenades with a fit like that. |

Fitting will probably be a challenge on this suit, just as much as other scout suits. But it wouldn't surprise me that the caldari scout suit will probably be the best of the bunch.
My hope is that they finally alter the scanning stats such that additional shields increases your scan profile. Of course, this would only really help with increased base scan range for scouts.

well, if the amarr sentinel has 4 low slots... my caldari sentinel should have 4(ish) high slots... 3 complex extenders, 1 complex energizer, and a kincat if i can |

You could do that but when I get my Cal Scout I'm going to be dropping SO into scanning, anti detection and all things EWAR... on an ALT that is. |

I'm waiting for the Minmatar or Caldari heavy. I want to try heavies, but I don't want to be so slow, and I don't want to armor tank (because of speed penalty). |

OP! Nerf it!! Remove the Light weapon, grenade, and any equipment slot if any. Also, add a long delay on the shield recharger!!

Nah...
You guys are fooling yourselves if you think the Cal Scout will be a respectable shield tank.
By the time the caldari scout comes out we'll be looking at another total reworking of our stats.
Chromosome's Proto Gallente Scout is Uprising's Proto Minmater Scout (minus some armor).
Chromosome's Amarr Heavy is probably going to be Uprising's Gallente Heavy.
If I had to guess, I'd say the stats for the old "Scout A-Series" is going to be it for the Amarr Scout.
The Cal Scout is still a wild guess, even if the Gal Scout has 4 lows. |

I don't like to be the bearer of bad news. But the Slots don't just represent the two different armor types. But Class Utility as well. Scout suits have more beneficial modules in their low slots.
To be honest, I think it'll look more like 2 MAYBE 3 hi slots, and still a fair amount of low slots. Mainly because of how the class needs to be utilized to stay in it's roll..

Likely the suit will be similar to how the Caldari and Gallente are now, which means in order to get those 4 Complex Extenders you're likely looking at having your 1 low slot filled with a CPU upgrade. |
