Half of the weapons in this game are hit scan. Assault scrambler rifle is an AR with the name scrambler rifle. NOBODY is complaining, and yet it's practically the same. It's obvious bias, people hate what kills them most. |

Great at mid-midlong range, not so good anywhere else. SMGs and shot guns are good at open close range. Mass Drivers and Flaylocks are great in tight close range, snipers are great at long rangers etc., etc.
ARs aren't easy mode. They are the median weapon, and the most comfortable weapon for most FPS players.
Get over it. Except they are easy mode in dust. Game skill required to be effective in dust (high kdr with weapon) from lowest skill (entry level) to master level as of 1.3:
- Easiest - Swarm Launcher
- Easy Mode - Assault Rifle / Assault scrambler rifle / Sub Machine Gun / Scrambler rifle
- Easy - Mass Driver / Flaylock
- Just above Easy - Heavy machine gun
- Moderate - Nova Knives
- Moderate - Forge Gun
- Challenging - Pistol
- Imposssibruuu - Plasma Cannon
I would rank plasma cannons at OVER 9000!!! |

Assault rifles need bullet dispersion Uhh, they do have it. It just takes like 20 bullets before it's noticeable, but it's always there. BTW 20 bullets is max skills, I didn't check with a new char. |

The scrambler rifle is balanced with over heat, which not only shuts the weapon down for 10 seconds, but also prevents all other activities and deals damage to the user. ARs just reload. ASSAULT scrambler rifle. It takes a mag and a half to overheat, even more if it's a Amarr assault. It might as well not be there. |
