Anything that can't be bought would probably be bought for a bunch more isk.
I think the toxic SMG sells for around 13000 AUR so that's like 6 or 7 bucks US...so I guess if we went by isk to aur...a 100 aur item cost 50k isk...its like 6 or 7 million isk...
Will the weapon sell for that much? No idea. Its all about the player market. |

I do not think that this will be ever possible - trade BPO. If you want one, you need to buy it from CCP. When Eve connect it's wallet to Dust, every merc will be rich. |

well i think a lot of people would buy BPO's just to sell for large amounts of isk if they don't plan on adding it they really should cause i know all that stuff will really make the market go crazy |

At moment when BPO will be possible to trade they isk value will rise sky-high on market while remaining in the same places on dollar market. They will start to be exclusive for Dust merc, and affordable for average EVE player. Maybe I don't know much about market, it seems to me that it would broke the game at some point.
We will have open market for people that want to sell AUR BPC for ISK, and I think that this is ok because those items will not cost much(in isk).
btw: I bought 1k Charge Sniper Rifle when they cost 2k - now I'm rich |

how would it break the market? even if the eve guys bought all the BPO's they couldn't use them it would just be wasted money if they held them and didn't sell them back for an affordable price based on Merc earnings |

Because a reletivly normal eve player has BILLIONS of isk... and not a small number have trillions... they could crash the dust market without a thought in a straight connection |

Regardless of the ISK price, CCP stands to gain a lot of money from BPO trade. Some will buy them for easy ISK (tank pilots with deep real money pockets anyone?) and some will buy them just to give to friends. Either way you'll have people buying Aurum items for other than personal use. |

I doubt they'll ever allow trading of BPOs -- I wouldn't if I were them.
...but if they do my guess is most will be dirt cheap since supply will be much higher than demand.
There could be some exceptions, collectors might pay a lot for anything there's only a limited number of -- i.e. not available for AUR and never distributed through merc packs. |

AFAIK CCP hasn't confirmed BPOs will be tradeable at all, although i figure they will be. The isk price will be set by the market and form a way to turn real money into isk the way PLEX works now, plus people will be more open to collecting as they can spend their isk to build a collection instead of money. It would be good for CCP because I think more people will buy them (rather than less).
On the other hand, I cannot imagine anyone buying a militia weapon BPO for stuff that's a very quick unlock, like ARs and sidearms and such. I think I stopped using the militia AR on day 2 and never used it again, the thought of people selling militia BPOs (particularly for the weapons i mentioned) for millions of isk sounds silly.

im sure everyone would buy up BPO's for all the militia stuff, MAG suits, skinweaves etc.
ik im very very interested in buying them and when it comes out ill be broke from all the excessive spending to save a few hundred isk :P |

Everything will be decided by demand and supply in the end. I see BPO's having a slightly higher price than other items and I think the 'PLEX' in Dust514 will become the boosters which will probably have quite a stable price and will maybe determine the prices on other Aurum items. |

You must know that BPO's at the moment can only be accesed by buying from CCP so every bought BPO on the market will indirectly have already been paid in raw dollars to CCP. No fuzz for CCP. Look at EVE Online's PLEX system and you'll understand. |

No fuzz for CCP. Look at EVE Online's PLEX system and you'll understand. You forget that PLEX are consumables and should be compared to other consumables. No doubt boosters will fill that function (I've always considered them more or less the same as monthly subs of other games).
If BPOs are readily available for ISK there's not really any reason to hang on to ones you're not using (since you can always buy a new one for ISK should you want it). Once there are enough of them in circulation there will be no reason for new buyers to get them with AUR. Some people may still buy them to sell, but that merely adds to the supply driving prices down which makes buying them with ISK even more attractive. If BPOs can't be traded every single character that wants to use one even once will have to spend AUR, less people may use BPOs but more AUR will be spent.
...at least that's the way I see it and why I believe they won't allow trading permanent items, I could be wrong tho ;).

They almost certainly will allow it. Also, they won't be dirt cheap for long. Anyway, the player market will change pretty much all of the economics of Dust, so I won't go putting too much effort into speculation yet. Way too much will change by then.
