I doubt they'll ever allow trading of BPOs -- I wouldn't if I were them.
...but if they do my guess is most will be dirt cheap since supply will be much higher than demand.
There could be some exceptions, collectors might pay a lot for anything there's only a limited number of -- i.e. not available for AUR and never distributed through merc packs. |

Psychotic Shooter wrote:we should be able to sell bpo back to ccp as they still have the money they dont lose anything Uhm, yes they do. If you can pay for your boosters by selling back BPOs you won't buy more AUR for that purpose => they lose a sale. |

Remm Duchax wrote:You must know that BPO's at the moment can only be accesed by buying from CCP so every bought BPO on the market will indirectly have already been paid in raw dollars to CCP. No fuzz for CCP. Look at EVE Online's PLEX system and you'll understand. You forget that PLEX are consumables and should be compared to other consumables. No doubt boosters will fill that function (I've always considered them more or less the same as monthly subs of other games).
If BPOs are readily available for ISK there's not really any reason to hang on to ones you're not using (since you can always buy a new one for ISK should you want it). Once there are enough of them in circulation there will be no reason for new buyers to get them with AUR. Some people may still buy them to sell, but that merely adds to the supply driving prices down which makes buying them with ISK even more attractive. If BPOs can't be traded every single character that wants to use one even once will have to spend AUR, less people may use BPOs but more AUR will be spent.
...at least that's the way I see it and why I believe they won't allow trading permanent items, I could be wrong tho ;).

They'd damn well better allow trading BPO's. It wouldn't be a proper EVE universe game if we couldn't. True, but infinite-supply items aren't very EVE universe in the first place. |

Knightshade Belladonna wrote:BPO is an infinite use item in Eve, as long as your not dumb enough to go carrying it around all over the place.. it sits there producing copies making tons of isk for years. If there was ever industry eve side for producing gear , and they could produce copies off these bpo and then build from those copies 1 time use special suits... they would sell for lot's of isk ( the bpo ) Sure, in EVE you can churn out a pile of copies if you have the BPO, but you still need minerals to build something the item in question. Hardly the same as an infinite supply of ready-to-use items. |
