I can't tell whether the people I'm shooting at are rendering or not through the mass of health bars blocking everything.
But seriously I have people just disappear when I'm sniping at 200 meters. I don't know the distance but there seems to be a magic line that people render on one side but are invisible on the other. |

It was all the rage on Manus Peak. Manus Peak was pretty balanced or snipers before. Defenders got to have the nigh unassailable peak, and the attackers had a hill full of little spots where because of how things were rendered allowed them to get into positions that could not be fired onto. It means that you can clearly see them, yet they are actually behind 100% cover. Granted, it only worked in a few dozen places, now it is happening anywhere where that z-fighting occurs. Which is every structure past 100m and most mountains past 300m. It used to only affect the hills at around 600m |

I am seeing this at anything over 100M on some maps.
It does seem to me map/socket specific.
Ashland is particularly bad (when I say bad I mean ******* awful).

It is pathetic to lose 7 games worth of grinding isk because a 50 ton piece of steel that could zoom to 1000m last build cant seem to pick up targets less than 100 m away. I swear, my sniper renders no enemies, vehicles or installations past 250m. Its ridiculous, other snipers can see me, but I can only see chevrons past 250m. I've tried all the quality settings, I'm gonna send a ticket in about it... Anyone else in the same boat?
Yup. Sitting on a tower with a Kaalakiota rifle only to track people who can suddenly disappear and reappear somewhere else.

There is a difference between not paying attention and graphics not appearing on your screen for extended periods of time. What the original poster said is true and is a HUGE problem.
You can't say someone isn't paying attention if they are staring directly AT the person shooting them, but the person simply isn't showing up on the screen. Sometimes it's the player that isn't appearing on the screen, and sometimes it is environmental objects between you and the player that doesn't appear, but will still block your shots. |

IF enemies actually rendered at the maximum distance of my railgun, I wouldn't mind it so much, but I can fire like 200m further than the distance, it's stupid and makes me just want to not bother with the game.

Would really like to be able to see what shooting at me. Adapting means I have to advance from cover to cover and take out turrets as I can see them. I am fine with that the turrets are generally on the far side of the map, its the forge gunners and swarms that can see me when I can't them. |

As of Uprising 1.4 I have had a rendering problem but not at long range. On several occasions i would be shooting a guy 15 feet in front of my blaster tank and he would sidestep and not render. also when he was shooting his swarms i could see the visual effects of the gun firing but the guy plus his swarms were invisible. i literally just saw the firing effects. The rendering is better outside of vehicles. i should not have to get out of my tank to see an enemy/ installation / vehicle/ teammate.
THIS IS RIDICULOUS !!!!
Especially when they are less than 100 feet from me! |

I guess tanks are supposed to be blind when it comes to detecting infantry by sensors - but not by their models, especially tank and turret models. |
