I've created an excel model to plan my Gallente Logistic Dropsuit's max effective hp but I have a choice now. I can either go with 607EHP and a 5% decrease to movement speed OR I can go with 630EHP with a 7% decrease to speed. I really don't know which way to go and was hoping to gather some insight from the community regarding the true value of that 2% extra movement decrease.

I'd probably go with the 607 EHP/5% speed reduction simply for the fact that the gained EHP in the other build is only worth about 1 bullet of damage.
Either way, try them both and see which you're having a better time with. |

Less HP is better. Once you get above 5 percent it really effects your ability to survive. |

Stick with the lower EHP, higher speed one.
I suspect you're also using lower tiered plates to achieve that result, so that option also gives you an added bonus of some fitting resources. |

I would say don't bother about speed u are never going to be fast so stick to what the suit is good at ,,,and that is not going fast .
Train and use armor repping nanohives they are much better then a personal rep and this will let u fit more plates
I use this at proto level and it is works really well . Get a friend equip wiakomi and allotek and u can put down up to 440 reps/s
with a 8.8m diameter ....... 60 sqm

2% speed, in this case, is more important than 3.7% more HP |
