And of course it fundamentally still works. Just like you could grab a proto suit, put a gun on it and nothing else and it would still fundamentally work. Whether it makes sense to do so, or whether it's the best choice... well, that subject to debate isn't it? (Not really, it's a no brainer for someone with a shred of intelligence) |

So pre-nerf, he fitted it as an assault suit with multiple equipment. Post nerf he's unable to do so. If he were to fit it with a logistics role in mind, he would be able to. Is there a problem here? I don't see one.

You say that like it is a bad thing. The ones that use a suit like an assault and specced into it purely because it was OP, rather than because they enjoyed the logistics abilities and role that suit provides, are now suffering because they were FOTM OP chasers.
