DJINN leukoplast wrote:I could go on, but you see how stupid that sounds? Why should each class be locked into a specific role? The fun thing about this game is being able to mix and match to come up with whatever is effective and what we enjoy using most. Claims that the fun bit is being able to adapt your fit.
Whines about having to adapt.

Marston VC wrote:He was making use of its high slots by putting damage mods in. The drawback to damage mods is that you have less shields then people who use shield mods. To compensate for that he put armor plates on. Simple as that. This isn't the best suit for what hes trying to do, but fundamentally it still works. So instead of using damage mods, he could put shield mods on, giving him similar EHP levels to his shitfit and have his low slots free to put on fitting mods to fit more equipment.
And of course it fundamentally still works. Just like you could grab a proto suit, put a gun on it and nothing else and it would still fundamentally work. Whether it makes sense to do so, or whether it's the best choice... well, that subject to debate isn't it? (Not really, it's a no brainer for someone with a shred of intelligence) |

Marston VC wrote:Paran Tadec wrote:hey crybaby, lern to fit a logi. I think the whole point of this post is that pre nerf he didn't fit it as a logi, and post nerf he didn't either. If you notice, the pre nerf photo is invalid because the equipment on it rendered it unable to fit everything. Post nerf the only thing that changed was total shields and he didn't have equipment anymore. So basically fitting as an assault logi. However he clearly doesn't understand that the assault variant of this race is now better at doing that then the suit hes using soooo...... yeah. He might be a bit confused, but I don't think he's crying over it. So pre-nerf, he fitted it as an assault suit with multiple equipment. Post nerf he's unable to do so. If he were to fit it with a logistics role in mind, he would be able to. Is there a problem here? I don't see one.
No, he's not confused, and yes, he is crying over it. |

ZDub 303 wrote:Well this is what we get. A bunch of faux cal logis that will maintain their 'acceptable level of combat efficacy' and drop their equipment to do so. The ones that dont just quit the game will continue that way for the next 3ish months or so until they can grind their way into assault and get their weaponry up. You say that like it is a bad thing. The ones that use a suit like an assault and specced into it purely because it was OP, rather than because they enjoyed the logistics abilities and role that suit provides, are now suffering because they were FOTM OP chasers. Decisions and consequences, action and reaction yadda yadda... |
