I already made 10 million for winning the D-Uni slogan contest. At this rate I am going to end up making more ISK on the forums than I make in game.
Also, is Bojo The Fantastic an alt of Bojo The Mighty? |

Also, is Bojo The Fantastic an alt of Bojo The Mighty? Wait, what's the slogan you came up with? And I'd like to know that too.
The slogan was: Clones turn to Dust but Knowledge is eternal. |

It does not really matter. Giving away ISK makes you Fantastic even if you arenGÇÖt Mighty. |

Well my contribution on this forum in the near future will be mostly advice, although I am sure that my guides continue to provide a useful resources for new players and players changing roles.
I am doing research on an Alt into Heavies and LAVGÇÖs, but I donGÇÖt expect anything to come out of that for a while yet. I want to see how LAVGÇÖs fit into the context of the 1.5 vehicle balance and the 1.4 impact changes. (I understand that LAV damage at low speed was a bug where damage was applied to a clone multiple times as it stuck to the LAV.) In this era of the murder taxi the value of the LAV turret has been overshadowed. So I might do a LAV guide in the fall.
With Fox I am just polishing up some base skills and keeping a lookout for new alternate stratagems to try out. I like to explore the Road Not Taken, but then I write a guide about it and the Road Not Taken becomes an 8 lane highway. |

There is always new ways to play a single suit and or role. You have played the sniper scout/smg scout but have you tried The Scrambler Rifle Scout? I honestly don't know anyone who has tried and I would feed them money to do so. Funny you should mention it because I just started experimenting with the Assault Scrambler Rifle/SMG combo. Assault Scrambler Rifle gives range, and strips shields, while I use Breach SMG with its increased armour damage to finish them when I get close enough. I picked up the Scrambler Rifle because I was tired of not having enough range to shoot across a street.
Now that said, I must admit that I have been using an Assault suit. I have found the fitting requirements too tight to fit a Drop uplink with the Assault Scrambler Rifle equipped, so if the fitting is that tight on an Assault suit I am unsure if I could make a decent Scout suit fit with the Scout suits that I have access to. I may give it a try, but I will have to delete an existing fit to make room for the new one. |

I am working on my biggest guide yet:
Fox Guide: Frontline, a Medium Infantry manual
Here is my rough outline of section headings, and I am sure there are sections I am not thinking of.
- Using Cover - Not being Sniper bait - Use your Ears
- Communication - Direction, Distance, and Position
- Cover me IGÇÖm Hacking - Kill an Uplink, Stop an Army - Targeting Priorities - How to kill a Heavy - Dealing with Enemy Tanks - Suppression fire, Area denial - Rapid Transport, Have LAV will Travel - Air Transport, Using Dropships (clear LZ, get in, get out when pilot tells you)
- Keeping your Heavy alive - Locating and calling Sniper Positions - Protect your Tank
- When to Rep and when to Shoot. - When to Stick-em, and when to let em die
This will just cover the basics, the rules of thumb when you are starting out. They can read the specialty guides to learn when it is appropriate to break those rules of thumb. |

It was impossible to get any work done. Now I have some quiet time to work on finishing that Frontline Guide. My rough draft is already 7 pages long in Word Perfect and I doubt I have more than a third of it written at this point. On a lot of things, such as weapons and modules, I am only going into the very basic rules of thumb to get people started, but there is still a lot of material. |

I am up to 12 pages on the Frontline Infantry Guide now. I still need to write the sections on the tradeoffs between shield tanking, armour tanking, glass cannon, and speed tanking fits; as well as brief instructions on each type of module and light weapon.
Also, I am in the Bojo channel if anyone is looking for me. |

I finally finished the first draft of my Frontline, Medium Frame Infantry guide. It came out to 18.5 pages in Word Perfect, which will probably translate into around 10 posts on the forum. I will probably have to reserve 15 posts to have room for future expansion. I guess I will have to include a linked index on something that big.
I still have to proof read it, so it probably wonGÇÖt show up on the forums until sometime next week.
