I was trying out my Logi fit earlier in a public skirmish match. I deployed 3 Prox Explosives at a Null Cannon then ran away. The Cannon was hacked. I ran back to counterhack. Halfway through the hack, one of the Prox blew up. It was reported: "Henry DeMartos suicided". CCP? Please answer... I believe the Prox was working fine in the last build.... |

An enemy damaged your mine causing it to explode, killing you(with a grenade most likely as you were at a null cannon panel). You are the only one on your team that can be harmed by them(like any weapon with splash damage).
Also, based on what you are writing, you are trying to use proximity mines as an anti infantry weapon. Currently they are only triggered by vehicles(or getting damaged). |

Proxy mines work only against vehicles.
Remote explosives are able to be triggered manually |

Remote explosives are able to be triggered manually I thought those little beasties were anti-personel? Still, should I not have died by the grenade? Or is there a master grenadier out there who is out to kill people with trick shot? |

I too have seen an enemy die from my proximity explosive. I'm assuming he shot it, trying to disable it but stood too close to it.
So yeah, they indeed are anti-vehicle weapon, but they can kill infantry too on special occasions. |

Any enemy can trigger a proximity explosive if he shoots it/grenades it. The enemy saw you hacking the panel, then threw a grenade to kill you. The grenade damaged you and also set off the proximity explosives which killed you.
You can be damaged by your own explosives in any game mode, it doesn't matter how they are set off.
They do not go off by themselves unless an enemy vehicle drives over them. |

You're wrong any friendly can be killed by friendly remote or proxy if the enemy blow it up and any enemy can do that |
