Its called rolling infantry and proto AV, and rolling fully specced out maddys.
Ive seen both sides of the spectrum. Roll a maddy w/ a poly plate, heavy repper, active hardener, 2 passive harderners and have 10% armor resistance from the skill and my maddys unstoppable except to proto swarms, i notice they got 3 or more damage modes on the wirkomi, i flip the hardener, get out, recall it.
Play the rest of the game on foot. Just an ambush i can stomp the next one.
Tanks are fine, yet garbage tankers whine and want buffs, and if they get it, real tankers are going to be unstoppable, then around comes the nerf merry go round.

What match types do you normally play? I do skirmishes mostly, but I've often wondered if tanks can be more successful in other types as well.

Tanks are priced where you NEED to go 40-1 or higher to have a chance at breaking even. If they are going 20-3 they are severely overpriced or underperforming.

I haven't seen tank spam since the ISK transfer exploit in codex.

Other than that, it's usually been not enough tanks, but occasionally a decent amount.

Last 2 days I've seen more tank spam than ever. Think there was an average of 2-3 tanks and at least 1-2 dropship on the enemy team.

Which brings it to a point where Tanks become more and more dominant the numerous they are.

Lets say 1 tank = 2-3 infantry
2 tanks = 4-6 infantry
3 tanks = 6-9 infantry

It gets lopsided pretty fast and more AV on your team doesnt matter much when multiple tanks can lock a team dead in waters.

Negative 5 out of 10 for me this guy who don't have the knowledge of tank and how big of a role it takes in a squad or a team of guys
Im not a tanker personally but I feel for the guys who are because they will lose there 2mill+ tank to a guy who's running a 100k suit to me the math is completely wrong there !
