Has anyone really ever gotten an honest kill with one of these?
Are they the true winner of the UP award?
What could/should be done to make them worth anything?
My first thought would be to make them like a sniper rifle, with appropriate zoom, that does equal damage to vehicles as infantry. |

Yes, on a buddies derpship, surprisingly useful to hover above a building, snipe a sniper with them, then hover back down...
Also surprisingly useless compared to literally every other small turret considering unless you are dead-still you won't hit crap-all. You may as well just use the Compressed Version since you need to make every shot count, and spray-and-pray does not work for small rails. |

I have never understood the point of them. sure they can hurt a DS.. if you can manage to hit the damn thing. Other than that, a blaster or missile is a much better choice |

I got lucky and OHKed a sniper with the proto small turret in my assault dropship.
Other than that, they're only useful for fighting other dropships, since they throw them around so much. My dropship has been shot down by them before. |

My original thought, using common sense/lore thinking, was that a small rail turret should be about like a forge gun... but that just wouldn't work for the way the game is balanced out right now. That's why I swapped to the sniper rifle idea, though I definitely think that they should be equally effective, if not a slight bonus |
