I don't use vehicle fittings in this game for 2 reasons: 1) My game has glitch and logs me off anytime i go into Vehicle Fittings. 2) I'm not to that point yet.
Like most players, I started out as an infantry player because it is a FPS game and it was familiar to me. Starting into Vehicle Fittings would require another gang of SP to be used. I simply am not there with the amount of SP I have right now (nearing 7M). I looked at the skills for Vehicles and the amount of SP some of that more advanced stuff takes is astronomical: 12x multipliers per tier, etc.
So if a guy calls in his tank, especially one with a rocket pod launcher thinga-ma-jig on it, I know they earned it. Even with Boosters and AURUM shortcuts, a lot of hours have been put into that player getting their tank. Another example is: today i saw an enemy tank with 30,000 total HP. Luckily it rolled right past me, but I thought "Whoa, that person earned that for sure".
So I can't get upset when a battle is full of vehicles, LAVs and HAVs, because that player earned their right to use them. The MLT starter LAVs are not a consequence any longer, and could be easily destroyed anyway. If a player earned their vehicle, and spent the hours needed to build it into a death dealer on wheels, why should anyone be upset with them? |

It had 15,000Shield/15,000Armor And no I didn't mistake it from 1500 |

Given the amount of SP it takes to build up HAVs, its possible that very few (perhaps only 1) HAV has the maximum Modules and Skill Upgrades to reach maximum HP, on whatever the highest HP-HAV is.

Funny how no tankers have shined a light onto this. I know what I saw, as it was rolling right past me. I did a double take, like anyone else would. Since I can't access the Vehicle Fittings menu on my game, I can't dabble in what the highest HP a HAV can have is. But 15000 doesn't seem that far out of the ordinary. Lately I've been seeing HAVs that are millions of SP built. I think the super tanks are starting to emerge.
EDIT* After looking at the market menues. So far I've calculated that the max armor an HAV can have is 19776HP... I don't know how shields can break 15000 thought. I'm still looking into it |

I'm still looking into it 19,776 HP holy fk.. is this just using fitting space and mods with no pg/cpu calculations? Or with PG/CPU and skills factored in? I'd **** my pants and exit game
I factored in everything.

Funny, people who actually USE the vehicles in this game validate my claim. What are you basing this "impossible" theory on? The fact that you've never witnessed it in a game yet, or it just seems unlikely, or that you yourself have spec'd into HAVs and max them out? |

Serimos Haeraven wrote:I have tried to fit tanks for shield buffs, the proto-heavy shield extenders cost so much PG/CPU you can only fit around 1-2, 3 if you aren't using a powerful turret. And even then, all those add is 2,100 shield to the equation, so there aren't even modules available on the market in Dust that could provide that kind of shield/armor tank.
Alright, we're making progress. You're half wrong so far :) But still, care to explain why its impossible? Besides that it may "ought" to be impossible? |
