I tried out a standard laser rifle, I have zero skills into it. (100% skilless into it, I used the free one they gave away)
And now that the glow has been fixed, it's actually surprisingly good at long range.
I went 21/3
It melts people near the end of the heat build up thingy.
If I skilled into it, it might turn into my old Viziam tear extractor. |

That's pretty impressive. They're going to remove the Iron sight and put a white dot similar to the Scrambler Rifles. And ADS will be faster.

I used the "Burnstalk" for about an hour today. I'm not skilled into lasers at all, but I can see how they can be deadly. It is right about at the over heat point the laser turns ultra-deadly. But thanks god lasers won't be as powerful as they were in Beta. Now those were LowRateHitman's famous Tear Extractors. |

I actually have some good games with them, they do still need a tweak to the speed damage picks up, and a slight range boost. |

Got my alt with LR proficiency 3 running ADV Amarr assault and complex damage mods.
It feels like the old Viziam. |

Sure, they are verging on being decent (just), but if you can do well with a laser pointer, then you can do x times better with any other rifle.
Decent squad support, but not much else. |

If headshot.
At that range, combined with Dust's terrible aiming, unless you're standing still it's kinda hard. |

I'll spec into it once the aiming in dust isn't like wrestling a fish. Plus the SCR and Laser Rifle need their ironsights switched around. |
