If you dropped an RE, you can still detonate it if you have your wrist pad out when you die. |

I've said it before,but the grenade mechanics in this game need some serious reworking. I think that's working as intended since cooking comes in handy. If you could just hold on to the grenade as long as you want, contact grenades would be abused even more and fluxes would be a pain in the neck. As far as the grenades detonation on death, I think it should be random so people aren't encouraged to throw panic grenades. |

You're asking for grenades that you swap to just like everything else we have? I'm on board, I like it, CCP should make it so. Similar to how there is a difference between pick weapon/equipment and quick swap? I wouldn't mind. Yeah, added to the radial weapon/equipment menu. I can also see Cosgars point (they would become a pain in the neck, however I doubt they'd be spammed more than they already are since you'd only have grenades up instead of tossing them with equipment/gun in your hand), though it would go a long way to maintaining consistency which I think is a good thing. My issue is that someone could take a contact grenade, run up to someone and pop it in their face. Doesn't seem so bad, but I could see some scouts abusing it. I like the idea of swapping to a grenade though. It'd be a great way to cut down spam. |

Forcing to swap could be seen as a clunky mechanic thought it would free up a button for something else... or maybe that button becomes the 'hot button' whatever you select in your equipment menu as hot anytime you hit that button you auto deploy/use that device and return back to previous weapon. BTW there was a smart bomb module on the market, people raged and it was removed. Smart bomb? As an explosive enthusiast, I'm intrigued- tell me more... |

Original descriptor stated that upon death the 'smart bomb' would utilize the suit's reactor and go critical. I guess the smart part would be turning a reactor into a weapon in 3 seconds flat. Eve Online version of the same named weapon utilizes the shield's shields as a means of emission. Not what I expected, but still cool. We need different grenades with different damage types too. Armor tankers are getting the short end of the stick. But I would like to see some heavy grenades. |

Kinda interested in Heavy Grenades too, hell, Light Grenades as well for that matter.
While we're on the topic, what race are the current Grenades anyway? Locus = Minmatar AV = Minmatar/Caldari Flux = Gallente (C-7 might be Minmatar) |
