I agree no cap would be better btw 12m sp so don't claim that I'm a no lifer that wants the extra edge I liked when I could skill into whatever I wanted back in closed beta you remember that ccp? 200-500k sp per game..kinda killed the drive for this player now that I can only get that in a week...I'm not saying make the sp gains that much but atleast remove the cap so there Is some drive in this game right now its I hit the cap well time to get off

Dust is just not in a place where you can make informed decisions with your SP. it's unfortunate and frustrating but in its current state... People really need options to work around CCPs changes other than 'grind moar'. When you can't make informed decisions about the future specs of current drop suits and weaponry... What's the point of spending SP and playing the game?

If people truly think we should never have respecs. Then the wisest course of action is to afk farm and not play for the next 5-6 months... Is that a culture we really want to foster in this game?

What does afking farming have to do with any of this? though its moot point since they are going to implement an afk kicking system.

HMG got DESTROYED in nerfs, i still played with it and had fun. Forge gun for months wasn't correctly register direct hits or splash radius hits, i still played with it and had fun. Flaylock is getting nerfed, im still gonna use it cause i enjoy the weapon. Heavy suit hasn't gotten any love since i started playing in open beta, yet its the only suit i use and still have fun.

Well there still isn't railrifles if that's what there called I've got my level to officer in both ar and sr but should I have to skill into a third one even though its not my fault its not out yet so I went with what we have? A respec will be needed at somepoint for half of the weapons/suits/vehicles arnt even in the game yet

This has absolutely nothing to do with it. Fact of the matter is... what am I supposed to spend my SP on when its quite possible it wont even be the same suit/weapon in 4 months?

You can't reliably spend your SP on anything right now cause there is a solid chance it won't be what you purchased anyways.

This game is designed such that you cannot get every single skill present in the game.. ever... period. By the time you could get the stuff that is even currently in game, there will be twice as much **** out.. you need to spend your SP in such a way that you specialize in certain things. How do I choose what to specialize into when the stats are changing on items in every patch?

Balancing is necessary, and this game is in a really bad spot in terms of balancing.

I'm not requesting we add indefinite aurum respecs.. but while we're in this rebalancing phase we should definitely be given respecs after major changes... even if its just the SP in the items that changed.

So no... considering I can very reasonably assume that every single weapon, dropsuit, vehicle, playstyle, etc will change in the next 4 months. The best course of action is to farm SP and not spend any of it if we truly are not to receive any sort of respec.

Hopefully CCP will be more reasonable and logical about this than you are.

No one is getting a respec period. We've gotten 2 now the flaylock users must suffer. I didnt ask for a respec when the TAC was nerfed, I adapted and pulled out my trusty Duvole. RESPECS= Not gonna happen. I instructed all my members to stay away from flaylocks and wait for the nerf. Yes it sucks for us but the gungame my guys will have compared to other players now will be above par. FOTM is the reason no1 will be given respecs. Quit asking.
