This is a terrible idea, but...
A shield transfer gun would be kind of cool, like you lose your shield power and give it to somebody else. This would encourage Cal-logis to equip better regulators and also use their race bonus to greater effect.
But until armour is fixed, it should remain on the back burner :) |

of course. Ive mentioned already that i wouldnt want this content until armor is buffed. but i still think it should be implemented. Perhaps maybe introduce some kind of High Slot module that reduces/removes the movement penalty |

When i get behind someone and rep their armor its going to be just as effective as if I did shields, they ability to auto rep wont effect the tool. In fact the only balance they would need is to stop passive rep when active reps are applied. The true balance lies in their overall buffer.
For shields it would actually be easier to kill someone being repping vs armor since you can't get as much buffer. So you can normally alpha shield tanks before my reps land.
You want an op rep tool, use the LOGILAV repper....its what I currently use for all my shield tanked friends. Even scouts won't die under heavy fire.
For those saying armor reps slower..........wrong. On my pro gal suit I have over 20hp/s repair rate. Which is about 4hp/s faster than my shields and I have a higher buffer added to that....its constantly repping. How did you get 20hp/s rep AND a higher buffer? I call BS on that as I have proto Gallente suits, unless of course you use a proto Gallente logi? |

What do you think about a transfer gun though? So a logi could sit behind cover and give an extrq few hundred to his teammates shields before waiting for his regulators to kick in and allow him to do the same for someone else. |
