what do you think? A grenade like FLUX but instead of shield depletion it stuns you for 5 sec. Just a thought. Go |

So another "I win" grenade, since no one will last 5 seconds. That's enough time to casually reload and kill them off. Hell you can drop an RE on them and blow them up before 5 seconds. |

5 seconds is an eternity in a fire fight, I have a feeling 2.5-3 seconds of immobility or screen blindness would prove to be plenty disruptive. In 5 seconds I could practically call my RDV friend to drop something on you! (Provided he's not three sheets to the wind drunk and careening around wildly)
Would be great in a scout's bag of tricks, but I'd rather see some sort of vehicle-stalling-web-thingy in the mix.
It would actually go a long ways towards dealing with LLAV-mageddon, but might cause even further balance issue for HAV users. Yeah, the vehicle situation is tricky these days...

Kind've a big f**k you to heavies if you ask me. They already can't run away from the torrents of locus grenades that come their way. |

I am heavy myself. Yes 5 sec is a bit much from the input so how about 2 sec. Like I said just an idea, from ideas greater ones are born |

That could be a application of the webifier tech from Eve. I haven't thought of that but a webifier grenade would make sense.
It could have an AoE smaller than the flux, but be really effective at slowing down LAVs but also infantry. |

I think it could function as a % of total movement speed, ergo increasing effectiveness against LAV's and reducing the felt decrease in HAV's relatively speaking. I had never really considered infantry being affected until now, and it seems feasible. |

Make it a web grenade that slows the target down to a crawl and then we'll start talking. A stun would be too much I think. They keep turn speed but lose running and walking speed. |

Modification: instead of "stun", why not drain stamina and cause a delay a little longer than normal before recharging starts - same concept of stunning someone, but slightly different effect. |

Like a stun gun does. It immobilizes the user for a bit. After reading these replies maybe this is more useful on vehicles. Like an EMP pulse charge. For a few seconds all vehicles shut down. |
