So I have noticed over the course of me enjoying Dust514 and my new love for assault sniping that Snipers have no advantage over Heavy Dropsuits. I believe CCP should fix it where a Headshot is a Headshot regardless of Which Dropsuit you use. CCP needs to make it where if you headshot a Heavy Dropsuit it kills them not just takes more than normal damage. This I feel is unfair for assault snipers and no I don't mean those that camp far hills the whole match. When your moving around objectives to assist your squad with overwatch to keep them safe and report enemy movement you need to be able as a sniper to one shot heavy suits as you can already do on medium and light suits. This is my personal opinion. Thanks for your time.

The point of a heavy is higher HP at the cost of movement and fitting (well, except for the Commando-gimp-suit I guess). Heavies already have the disadvantage of moving much slower than their peers, making them easier to shoot. So, you need to shoot them more, but it's also easier to shoot them. |

So, we should allow a sniper rifle be used in a scout suit. With no damage boosters. Maybe even something to announce their location. Like a big blinking purple light. So everybody can find them easier. That would be much more fun. For me.
Or maybe we could let people play the game the way they want?
Heavy Sniper.
Assault Shottie.
Cheap Militia Fits.
Proto Gear.
Wow, what a concept. |

Wow, what a concept. Think you need to read the op Kal.
And op i think you need to change the title.
Also, you're wrong. Heavy suits are easier to hit because they're so slow. If you can't manage to get an entire clip in the guys huge head before he's gotten into cover, you're doing it wrong. |

Heavy snipers are slow, bigger so easier to spot. Less stealthy stats wise.
Have a huge head. Probably only an extra bullet to kill anyways. |

You make a good point people should be able to do what they want to an extent but this game lacks something right now and thats balance, letting people pub stomp in proto will drive away new players thus far killing the game. your not good in any way if you run with a group all decked out in proto and mop people wearing advanced or basic and arent running with an organized sqaud this completley kills the fun out of the game so what we need is matchmaking if you wana run your proto that completey fine but go against people with equal gear. It doeesnt take a genius to figure this out. I am not hating on people who employ these strategies but dont brag about winning its like bragging about winning a foot raise against someone with polio.(not mush of a challenge there) |

Sincerely, Biazejohnson I have nothing to Heavy, they die after 2 very good shoots(first one in head, second in chest). But Logistics and Assault to, and that the real problem - charged proto sniper rifle with 5x +10% dmg mods, profiency on lvl5, - headshot on logi, and he keep walking... |

This is nice that someone point that ehp from one dropsuit =/=ehp for another for SAME weapon. Nice. And good luck with CCP.
If CCP make same hitboxes for frames that will be fair, because buged speed + hitboxes dont work here.
To the OP. If you want heavy dropsuit be more fragile... you look at wrong end. For sniper heavy is very nice target. |

Maybe a few should play with OP. After playing with him almost every day for the last month, there is really no other sniper I would like. For those of you suggesting that he is looking at it wrong, I would like to see you (as a sniper) hack multiple objectives and take down a moving targets at 400m during a match. It is frustrating to empty a Gek clip at a heavy and still your overwatch sniper cannot take him down. Something is wrong when Nova Knives or a shotgunner can two-hit a heavy, but a sniper has to hit 3-4 times including headshot. Just my $.02.
