DUST Search - Why is the dust now the only non cross platform f2p console MMO?

no, it wasnt on 360, and in fact will NEVER be on a microsoft console, because of the agreements microsoft demanded CCP make should they allow the game on their console. basically you have to PAY for new content, pathes can only come out once a month and cannot be bigger than a certain size, and the game could not connect to ANY servers not owned by microsoft.

as far as DUST being allowed on PC, i couldnt care less unless i was able to have my capsuleer throw on some armor and do some shooting herself, after all, who can do a job better than yourself?

It's the same reason world of tanks is being pulled from xbox one, MS won't let them give players access without a gold account.

So the PS4 is becoming the f2p mmo console. I just think if only a very stong focus on PS4 if not PC I suppose.... But I'd rather see a PC port since most other mmos are going to same route. Part of what makes dust aimming bad during lag is everything is done server side. So it might look like a mass driver hits but the server had t go off somewhere else. This is why cheating doesn't happen on CCPs servers.

I know they do it if they tried, but either way sticking to PS3 only? hmmmmmmmm

I know they do it if they tried, but either way sticking to PS3 only? hmmmmmmmm part of the PS3/4 thing was an exclusivity contract they signed with SONY as the only real condition to allowing the MMO on PS3, not quite sure how long the contract lasts, but you can bet sure as hell once its up CCP will look at quieting all the rage on the EVE side. (but seriously, the only thing that ticks me off about DUST and what several EVE devs have said about wanting the EVE universe split up among more games, is that for each one made, the account i pay 15 dollars for a month allows me/my character to access less and less of the "content" in "eve", not that they take away content, but that they make content and dangle it in front of me with "ooh, wanna play this? too bad, no capsuleers allowed, gotta get an account and character on a different game/console")
